Your stay will be self check-in. The code will be emailed to you 1 day before your rental date. The code will be changed after your check-out, so make sure you double check your belongings before you leave. Check-in is from 5 pm. Check-out is before 11am.

We are happy to accommodate if possible. But please note if we have back to back bookings this won’t be possible.

We provide 2 kayaks and 1 canoe with 4 adult life jackets for you to explore the York river. The river is perfect for swimming and fishing, however the water level will vary depending on the weather. There are also many hiking trails around the property. Downtown Bancroft is just a short 10 mins ride. There are many local restaurants, supermarkets and LCBO. You can find more information on our Explore page.

This space is listed as not suitable for children for the following reasons. It is up to parents to decide if these factors work for their family: - River current might be fast depending on the season - Indoor fireplace that gets hot to touch - Portable crib not provided - Not child proof (corners, outlets, cupboards etc.)

The cabin has a no pet policy.

Yes, bed linen and towels are provided. There are also additional beach towels for any water activies.

Yes, the password can be found in our guest manual at the cabin. Friendly reminder that we are located in cottage country and the signal is not the best. Basic browsing and emails are fine but will be slow for downloading videos.

We are located about 10 minutes away from downtown Bancroft.

There is room for 3 cars to park right in front of the cabin. Please do not leave your cars on the road.

There are 2 supermarkets - Foodland (open 24 hrs) and NoFrills, liquor store, Shoppers, Canadian Tires.
